Skills
Proficiency in Siemens PLC and HMI programming
Knowledge of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices
Familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety requirements
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
Customize crane controls using existing software modules
Support factory acceptance, commissioning, and lifecycle of material handling equipment
Modify PLC software to meet customer needs
Monitor and develop replacements for obsolete automation equipment
Resolve control/software issues by collaborating with engineers and service technicians
Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry
Experience as an Automation Engineer
