Duties and Responsibilities
Provide analytical solutions through statistical modelling, credit policy & strategy, reporting & data analysis for Banking Financial Lending business.
Track & improve key performance indicators, losses & portfolio quality. Support deep dive analysis on portfolio matrices.
Work closely with business team to understand their needs & provide analytical solutions.
Build, monitor, validate or track machine learning models or statistical models like scorecards & regulatory models as & when required.
Assess if any early warning triggers can be identified using data analysis & segmentation & take proactive policy actions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in Engineering or related numerate fields of study
Preferred coding languages : SAS, SQL, Python, R
5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis & credit risk policy to solve business problems, preferably in banking.
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (IFRS9, BASEL, APRA guidelines), machine learning algorithms & statistical model development will be a plus.
Ability to prioritize, plan & organize work & adhere to strict timelines.
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical topics with diverse user groups and conduct stakeholder management conversations.
