Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

The client is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented software engineer to join our Quantitative Research team as a Quantitative Developer.
You'll be assisting our Head of Quantitative Research in creating and maintaining models for research projects using C++.
We're small, nimble, casual (no suits – shoes optional), and passionate about our mission and the projects we create.
As a member of our Quantitative Research team, you will have true ownership over your projects from beginning to end, with an emphasis on accountability over micromanagement.
Assist our developers with implementation of new models in production code
Provide coding support for new research ideas

Qualifications:

3 years’ experience programming in C++ - heavy C++ programming
We’re just looking for a strong, mathematical C++ developer that is fairly junior in their career but has work experience after college.
Bachelor or Masters is fine. PhD is probably overkill.
Should come from an engineering (not CS) or applied math background. No quant/finance degrees. Regular math or statistics or some sort of engineering.
We’d like to see practical experience vs. research experience in C++.
Experience with data handling and ability to analyze data within a SQL environment
They don’t need quantitative modeling experience.
They need experience with numerical analysis or working on math-heavy projects.
They will be helping build models from ideas and maintaining old models.
Really need someone who wants to focus on using C++.
This role is only going to be working in C++. We don’t have a need for python, or java, or R.
We need low latency efficient code to produce results for our option models in a very specific manner.
C++ best suits our need for this.
We need someone that can create that library and then translate the research ideas into C++ code using that library.
They will be developing options pricing models in C++.
Their experience should include C++ if that’s one of the main languages they work with on the job.
The job title is technically Quant Developer because they’ll be a software engineer on the quant team.
