The Center of Hope for Behavioral Health (The Center) was founded January 2019, with a mission to improve the quality of life of individuals and families by compassionately advocating for them, and by addressing their mental health and community-support needs. The Center provides outpatient in-person and televideo mental health counseling, integrated behavioral healthcare and case management services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders and co-occurring diagnoses.

As a Director of Clinical Services you will be doing what you love to do….ensuring the highest level of clinical care and helping people. This position manages and motivates our team of Clinical Therapist and Support Staff. The position will provide support to, and work in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure The Center is running smoothly and is focused on overall goals. As the contact for clinicians, guests, clients, vendors, and families, your role is vital to The Center’s success and its ability to continue serving the community.

● Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication
● Set clear team and individual goals
● Data collection and management
● Be available for staff consultation
● Monitor team performance and report accordingly
○ Track team’s productivity with Google Sheets bi-weekly
○ Provide an explanation of any influx or decrease in productivity hours
○ Meet with and/or speak to each pre licensed and intern team member weekly
○ Facilitate quarterly Staff Meetings\Trainings
● Submit clinical intern evaluations to Executive Director
● Submit 90 day evaluations of staff to Executive Director
● Performing both quantitative and qualitative audits of records to ensure documentation meets standards and reflects quality service-delivery.
● Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
● Reviews of service quality
● Make communication with clients after the first appointment in order to ensure their needs were met and they were satisfied with their placement.
● Implementation of best practice and emerging practice protocols
● Assures that appropriate treatment plans are developed and implemented
● Review of service notes within 24 hours of staff submission, providing feedback as needed
● Performs other tasks, as assigned.

● Must meet individual performance requirements
● Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or related field and licensed in the state of Tennessee and from a CACREP Accredited Program (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, MMFT).
● Must have knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of counseling services.
● Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds
● Knowledge of Ethics and Professional standards, HIPAA, confidentiality and privacy practices.
● Must have knowledge of strategies for examining, applying and evaluating cognitive/behavioral therapy concepts.
