Job Description:
Speech Recognition on the Voice response Platform
Software engineer, working in a lab environment, who integrates, develops, and
evaluates new technologies and capabilities for a more powerful and
conversational UX on our new voice response platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and integrate in-house and third-party components and capabilities
into Genesys applications
Design, build, and gather results from demos, A/B tests, and pilots
Document solutions, and support delivery teams who implement them
Lab maintenance, including OS patching, Genesys application updates,
licensing, and access control
Work with architects to learn about and to ensure solutions meet Amex
standards
Work closely with Product Owner on ideas, and options
Key Skills:
Experience with voice response platforms and applications-Genesys in
particular
Experience with speech recognition, and VXML
Deep experience with general software engineering: APIs, Java, scripting
languages, databases, connection protocols, etc.
Experience with Nuance, and natural language understanding are big pluses
Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies
