#Hiring Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Tax Accountant, with potential for partnership, for our
growing, team-oriented, dynamic financial services firm, located near Portland,
Maine.
Responsible for providing a full range of tax and accounting services for the
firm?s clients; including preparing individual and business tax returns,
recommending tax and financial strategies, identifying and mitigating tax risks
while building solid relationships with the clients. Assist with growing the
business by promoting the firm?s services and expanding the client base.
Must have outstanding tax and accounting, client service, communication,
analytical, time and project management skills. QuickBooks experience is
required. Lacerte tax software and/or Thomson-Reuters tax research experience
is a plus. Experience with or interest in wealth management work is a plus.
Master?s degree in Taxation and CPA or EA is required. Minimum of three years
of hands-on tax preparation experience with individual or business tax returns.
Competitive salary and outstanding benefits package, including relocation from
within the Continental United States. In-office is preferred; however, hybrid
work is also possible. Must be authorized to work in the United States without
sponsorship of any kind now and in the future.
