Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician
Pay: $15 - $17/hr.
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday
Location: Tulsa
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for disassembly, rebuild, reassembly, and testing of various types of cylinders across a broad range of applications.
You will be working on industrial, construction and agricultural hydraulic cylinders.
Routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs.
Have the ability to perform work during prolonged standing; up to 8 hours.
Additional duties may be assigned.
Required Experience & Training Experience in cylinder repairs is extremely helpful.
Dependable, self-motivated individual with Welding and/or Machining Experience is also a plus.
Strong mechanical background and knowledge of cylinder components.
General hydraulic knowledge familiar with both micrometers and caliper measuring tools, a plus.
Operate material handling equipment to move inventory including forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to use various types of inspection tools.
Understanding of seal configuration and sizing.
General hand tool usage (must have tools).
Evaluate job orders, attention to detail.
Making sound decisions using independent judgment.
Positive attitude and ability to function within a team
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Ensure daily activities assigned are completed.
Assure adherence to all company safety policies and improve safety performance.
Inspect and reassemble cylinders.
Perform routine housekeeping duties on, related tools, materials, shop, and work areas.
May assist in other areas of the hydraulic shop as needed.
