• Install and breakdown of exhibition stands and exhibition elements such as frames, screens and technology mounts.
• General construction of exhibition projects, both on-site and in the factory/warehouse.
• Provide on-going safety training for all crew.
• Provide installation/service training to new installation crew employees and continuous support and training for all employees.
• Ensure quality installation, operation and service of products.
• Providing innovative solutions to problems.
• Providing advice and guidance for crew members.
• Maintaining employee motivation and satisfaction levels.
• Supporting the Operations with any relevant duties.
• Informing Operations of any installation and crew member problems.
• Briefing of less senior members both on-site and in the factory.
• Scheduling installation and service of product with PMs and designers.
• Attend pre-construction meetings prior to installation.
• Maintain good relationships with PMs, fellow installation crew and event organizers.
• Assist in installation/service and provide additional resources to jobsites in order to remain on schedule and provide exemplary service to the customer.
• Perform post installation inspection (take photos of product, follow-up, completeness of project).
• Report any problems, safety issues, close calls, successes and completion.
• Provide on-site supervision and hands on assistance for jobs as needed.
• Communicate trouble reports, warranty issues, and back charges to project managers and billing department.
• May include general forklift duties and warehouse maintenance.
• Provide leadership to all crew.
• Regularly checking equipment and tools.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on WH&S rules and regulations.
• Liaise with clients and other operational and service departments, ensuring that safe systems of work are adhered to at all times.
• Crate lists and estimation of truck sizes.
• Working within budget to complete projects to the highest possible standard
• Assist with build estimates where required
• Reviewing production drawings, identifying and rectifying mistakes
• Checking over all aspects of packed stand elements to ensure ALL components necessary to complete the build are there. Inc frames, fittings, furniture, flooring and infills
• Identify the most cost effective way of building structures
• Delivery of the project on time and communicating any set backs/issues to the Operations Manager and Project Manager
• Admin duties, including time sheets, budget tracking and checklists
• Ensuring adequate stock levels in the warehouse and reporting shortfalls to Operations
• Manage the deliveries and collections, notifying the relevant parties
• Review design concepts and provide feedback on construction and potential issues prior to them being sent to the client
• Ensuring all inventory is properly maintained and stored in the correct bay at all times
