The Sydney Bridge Centre is the clubroom of the New South Wales Bridge Association. We are a not for profit organization and run bridge sessions and tournaments as a community service. Occasionally we run some catered fun events at our venue. We are not a restaurant, but we are a small enthusiastic team to make things happen.
We would like to hire kitchen hands to work in these events. The work time is about 8.00am - about 3pm (approximately 7 hours, could be a bit more). The job will include preparing hor d'oeurves, plating out lunches, serving at the table and some cleaning in between. No serious cooking. Lunch provided.
We don't have a big budget as a NFP, so this is a flat rate for kitchen hand (adult rate). Juniors are welcome to apply for this role. On the job training will be provided. No alcohol will be served in most of our events, a RSA license is not a must. Our catered events are randomly scheduled, there will be at least once a month usually on Friday.
