Our company is currently seeking friendly Installers to help our clients install window coverings in their homes. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, cleaning and repairing window coverings. As an Installation technician, you will be working in occupied and unoccupied homes as well as offices. The work is both physical and mental and will require you to use problem-solving skills when issues arise. There are a lot of opportunities to raise your pay, as you are paid piecework after a mandatory hourly rate is met.
Responsibilities:
Prepare required tools and products before installation.
Run through checklists of products before leaving for jobs
Follow detailed guides from technical guides, instruction manuals and videos when needed
Connect the system to a network and complete programming when needed
Test the app for bugs and glitches.
Update documentation with any issues discovered during installation.
Provide customers with training on how to use their new products and app when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.50 - $45.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide PPE for any installers that need them. We prioritize safety, and will not send our installers into the home if we feel the conditions aren't right. We screen each appointment we make.
Work Location: On the road onsite in homes and businesses around Portland
