DRIVER NEEDED

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to join our team. You will safely and efficiently drive a large commercial vehicle locally and long distances for extended hours to deliver or pick up our high-end furniture. All safety regulations and standards regarding size, weight, and break periods must be followed. Each driver works with a team of two helpers who he has to utilize to accomplish his daily task.
Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
Loading and unloading of cargo off truck and ensure cargo is secured.
Follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards.
Complete documentation for mileage and cargo; keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirm inventory matches work orders.
Refuel vehicle and check or replace oil as needed.
Inspect trucks daily for damage or maintenance problems.
Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors.
Maintain vehicle equipment.
Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
Has a Flexible Schedule
Good knowledge of locals’ roads in NYC and tri-state area. (Truck routes)
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years professional driving experience or related work experience
Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
