Summary of Responsibilities:
Coordinates, creates, and collaborates with others on digital or print media content, ensuring compliance with University policies, and regulations. Coordinates the production of photography, audio, and/or digital images.

Essential Functions:
Oversees production project scheduling, production planning, and evaluation of task deliverables.
Collaborates with stakeholders on the design and layout, and prepares visually appealing branding elements and finished products for use in print and digital mediums while maintaining the University brand and image.
Produces, edits, and archives digital media including graphic, audio, or video content.
Coordinates the development and implementation of special projects, events, and/or presentations.

Minimum Education:
60 hours of college coursework in communications, marketing or related field by hire date

Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media or related field. Every 30 hours of college coursework beyond 60 hours can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Preferred Experience:
One (1) year of experience with graphic design

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Applied knowledge with graphic design
Strong knowledge of the social media platforms, platform audiences and associated trends
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments with similar deadlines
Detail oriented & awareness of content impact regarding university standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high professionalism
Self-starter, sets goals, independently identify solutions and troubleshoot

Pay Info:
Range beginning point $37,000/yr, adjustable with experience
