Skills

At least three years of experience in public accounting
Stable work history
Knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and practices (including GAAP and GAAS)
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Familiarity with Caseware and Datasnipper
CPA certification is a plus
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements (compilations, reviews, and audits)
Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls
Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements
Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback
Handle and prepare complex transactions and work with clients on technical matters
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and practices
Foster client relationships to ensure timely and effective information gathering and resolution
Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of prior experience in public accounting
Stable work history
Proven knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Caseware and Datasnipper preferred
CPA certification is desirable, but not mandatory
