Senior Estimator

We are seeking " Estimator " for one of our esteemed clients based at St. louis, MO and your experience aligns exceptionally well with what they are.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with the project team to determine the approach for proposals.
Review and interpret project requests for proposals (RFPs) and preliminary plans to develop detailed quantity surveys.
Obtain accurate takeoffs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
Conduct conceptual estimating based on preliminary project parameters.
Prepare project cost analyses, including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
Understand project timelines and deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with product, vendor, subcontractor, and government requirements.
Participate in preconstruction meetings.
Travel to project sites to assess field conditions and meet with local trade contractors.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and qualifications:
Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management
10+ years of experience in bidding commercial and industrial construction projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
In-depth knowledge of construction building methods
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
Professional demeanor and appearance
Detail-oriented and thorough
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with project partners, subcontractors, and vendors
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong computer skills
Experience with Destini-Estimator, Pantera, and Bluebeam takeoff is preferred
